Allen Buckley has over two decades of experience in finance serving the unique needs of high net-worth and ultra high net-worth families. As a Certified Financial Planner, he specializes in helping clients achieve their financial goals, tailored to their individual circumstances and aspirations.
As a former Vice President in personal financial management at one of the world’s leading investment banks, Allen gained invaluable insights into managing wealth for discerning clients. During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, Allen worked with individual clients and families, helped them navigate complex financial landscapes and tailored bespoke financial solutions to their specific needs.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Allen finds joy in his family life alongside his wife, Crystal, and their children, Ella, Ava, and Luke. Together, they call Columbia, TN home and enjoy boating and various outdoor activities. His dedication to family, clients and his community define his career as a trusted advisor.

Sara Lopez
Sara Lopez brings over 15 years of invaluable experience in the financial industry to her role as Relationship Manager at Paragon’s Modesto office, with her most recent four years spent at Goldman Sachs. With a background that began as a Teller and Personal Banker and evolved into a Sales and Service Manager at Goldman Sachs, Sara possesses a deep understanding of client needs and financial processes.
In her current position, Sara plays a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing new client relationships. She guides clients seamlessly through the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed while serving as a trusted resource for any inquiries they may have.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Sara has proudly called Modesto home for the past decade, sharing her life with her partner of five years, Jon, and their two wonderful children. She’s an avid traveler, enjoys visits to Disneyland, and possesses a passion for culinary pursuits. During her leisure time, you’ll often find her engrossed in a good book, indulging in movies and TV shows, or hosting gatherings with friends and family.

Our Story
After spending decades at one of the world’s top investment banks, including four years as a Vice President in Personal Financial Private Wealth Management, our founder, Allen, recognized a significant gap in the industry. He enjoyed the challenge of helping the ultra-wealthy achieve their financial aspirations, but he couldn’t ignore the shortcomings of this business model. First, the sophisticated strategies and resources available at these large institutions were often inaccessible to many investors. And, the inherent conflicts of interest within these behemoth banks often led to advice that wasn’t always in the client’s best interest.
Motivated by the desire to bring a more disciplined approach to a broader range of high-net-worth investors, Allen set out to create something different. He founded Paragon with a clear vision: to offer the best of both worlds. The definition of ‘paragon’ is “an exact replication of excellence”. And that is exactly what the firm strives to create for each client.
By combining their extensive experience in creating bespoke solutions with the personalized attention and fiduciary duty that clients deserve, Allen and the Paragon team established a firm that provides a more unique offering. Instead of just focusing on investment and financial planning, the firm provides comprehensive private wealth management. In addition, they coordinate with clients’ professionals to help optimize estate planning, tax planning and tax preparation solutions…all with the aim of producing better results.
